…promises to support the governor’s palliative across Ughelli North
Foremost philanthropist and chairman, Evbie Andrew Foundation, Evang. Andrew Evbie has commended the food bank initiative of the Delta State Governor, Sen. Ifeanyi Okowa, stating that the palliatives shared will go a long way in cushioning the effects of the lockdown that deltans are observing currently.
Evbie, who gave the commendation while speaking to newsmen shortly after supervising the distribution of the items across his ward 3/7 of ughelli north, noted that with the food banks now open, Governor Okowa has minimised the effects of the lockdown on deltans.
He added that it is in the best interest of deltans that “Governor Ifeanyi Okowa has ordered a lockdown as it is the only means available to slow down the spread of the virus.”
He rounded up stating that he believes with the food banks now opened instead of deltans protesting against the lockdown, they would rather appreciate the governor for his efforts so far in hamsl.
Evang. Evbie that since the beginning of the lockdown has continually reached out to the most vulnerable people around his Ughelli North constituency, promised to extend the gesture to the entire Ughelli North in support of what the state government is doing currently.
